Amadeaus the kitten is recovering well after suffering horrific burns on most of one side of his body.
A tiny kitten who had suffered horrific burns is recovering well after receiving medical attention at Whangarei SPCA.
We received a call from a member of the public about a kitten hanging around their home who was distressed.
Our inspector Helena went to investigate and found a skinny little black and white male kitten with horrific burn wounds covering much of one side. Some of his wounds were infected. It looked as though he had had hot water poured over him.
We named this poor wee kitten Amadeus and set about helping him on his road to recovery.
Read more about Amadeus' story and how he is recovering by clicking on our blogsite whangareispca.blogspot.com.
