The SPCA Resthome Visiting Programme
Bailey's Resthome visits programme started in November 2004 and is one of the ways in which we help make our community a little better.
We visit all the Whangarei resthomes with the animals on a regular basis and get a lot of positive feedback from the staff and residents, many of once loved pets of their own.
It is wonderful to see the look of joy when we arrive with a wee kitten to be cuddled and a dog or puppy to be patted and caressed.
